I don't know what these people are up to lately. I've never had any problems with them before, but the last order I placed they sent me twice. Then I requested a price adjustment, and it's still too early to know if the price adjustment went through (they did email me that they processed it)--but now today I got an email saying my "order" for the price-adjusted items had just shipped! Argh... is it just me or are they going wacko with everyone's orders?

I have had similar problems with Gap.com. It is a long story, but I received Gap.com online gift certificates (FYI - these are apparently different from the Gift Card). With the online gift certificates, the Gap does not allow you to combine them into one. That basically meant I had to order 5 separate times (I received 5 certificates) and pay for shipping 5 separate times. I finally got them to wave the shipping (after spending 2 hours on the phone with them), but that was not the end of my problems:
1.) I never received one of the orders. - When they reshipped, part of the order was already out of stock.
2.) They did not charge my gift certificates properly when I ordered and instead placed all orders on my credit card, so I ended up with a huge credit card bill (they had the credit card to cover any expenses over the certificate amounts).
3.) They credited back my credit card account for only 4 out of the 5 orders.
4.) I am still awaiting a credit back to my credit card for the 5th order. It hasn't come through and they have zeroed out my original gift certificate for that order (i.e. they have $100 of money that belongs to me.) I have spoken to them at least 10 times and they have been little help.
Gap is a great company and I consider myself a patient shopper, but this is getting ridiculous!
