I'm a Canadian living in the US and heard on the news today that the US dollar was worth less than the Canadian dollar- 1.04 was the exchange rate. My dad is currently visiting and it makes shopping so much more fun, especially as we don't have that pesky GST/PST combo added onto everything. I imagine many will be doing some xborder shopping this Christmas season- why didn't this happen when I went to grad school in the US (the CDN dollar was worth about 65 cents then!).
