Well, the doc has cleared me for one last trip before DS#2 arrives- we're leaving for Ohio and Michigan in the morning, and will be back on Sunday. We're headed to a wedding (DH is in it) that we've known about for 3 years now. One would think we would've planned a little better ;) Oh, well. There are no signs of my pregnancy really progressing- I was sent in for a 3 hour blood glucose test today b/c DS is measuring 2 1/2 weeks bigger than expected, and my fluid levels are elevated. We should get those results after we get back home.
Also, I think I mentioned in the past that my MIL and FIL were both diagnosed with cancer a month before DS#1 was born, and both had surgery just before he was born. They have regular check-ups and everything has been going well, but my MIL told us last night that she found a lump in her other breast and she'll be having a lumpectomy next week. At that time they'll test it to see if it's benign, and if not, will determine a course of action for treatment. I can't imagine the emotions they're feeling right now, but any prayers, thoughts, etc. sent their way would be greatly appreciated. Fortunately, they live in Houston now (were in CA during their last diagnoses/treatments), so I can hopefully be of more help (physically, emotionally, etc.) this time around since they're minutes, instead of a plane ride, away.
Thanks for being so great, you all. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
