OT-- Jennifer Garner and Alias

I'm a total Alias addict and I cannot wait to see it tonight. I have to have an explanation on how Vaughn can discover that Sydney is missing, look for her, decide that he's never going to find her, mourn her, get over her, start dating, fall in love and get married in less than two years. I'm sure that's a realistic time line (maybe), but I guess I was very pregnant and hormonal when the season ended b/c I was ticked off that he could move on w/ his life so easily and apparently it still bothers me. Anyway, I was sad when I found out about her divorce IRL, but since she's dating Michael Vartan I'm fine w/ all of that. I know, that's kind of sick. But I think they make a great couple.

From what I've read, including spoiler sites, it's pretty much going to be a diiferent show. I hope not too different though. Our DD's name...Sydney. Ok, Alias was certainly not the sole reason but we're definitely into "girl power" :)

So glad they've gotten together in real life. Vaughn is a hottie! Did I really just use that word? :9

I am so psyched to watch this too! This morning when we woke up, DH said "do you know what today is?" "Yes, its Alias night," I said!

I hope it is better than the premieres from last week since I was highly disappointed in so many of them.

Michael Vartan is my TV boyfriend. DH and I have a TV boyfriend and girlfriend and MV is mine along with Spike from Angel. His are Jennifer Garner and the chick from Ed (Julie Benz). It's our ode to the top 5 lists that a lot of people have for their celebrity attractions.

So, was anyone a little disappointed in last night's show? How in two years could Sloan become a good guy???
But...the ending was great. I can't wait to find out what Sydney's been up to.

As I mentioned earlier I was still a tad worked up that Vaughn could have moved on w/ his life in what I thought was too short amount of time, so I was glad to see her go at him physically in the beginning and then tear into him at the end. I don't think I'll be falling for that Sloan is a good guy thing. He's just too slimy and self involved.

On a separate note, The Practice was surprisingly better than I thought it was going to be. James Slader just might add some life to that show.

I actually liked Alias a lot last night despite the fact that Vaughn was only on for like 4 minutes! I loved the way she went off on him...classic.

I am eager to see how the meeting with his wife goes next week since the previews are so intriguing. Is she an agent too?

I think James Spader makes The Practice cool. I liked it before but I thought it was great last night. He is awesome and I think the character he plays is a hoot with all of the sexual come-ons.

I thought last night was great! I wouldn't believe for a heartbeat that Sloane is a "good guy", and obviously Syd doesn't either. I am surprised that the stupid CIA would buy it. And am I the only one who said to DH, "Gee, don't you think if they couldn't find her for 2 yrs and she showed up out of the blue, that perhaps she was kidnapped, brainwashed and used as a spy or assassin by someone else?!" Looks like she may have been when you see the video her dad showed her. Boy, the CIA needs to get their crap together! I also loved seeing her rip into Vaughn for believing she was dead because I was sooo mad at him! I loved them together! Okay, so I'm a little addicted!

Ooooh, it WAS good...and she ripped into him big time at the end! I love that! (Only because I never open my mouth to tell anyone off, and it is NEVER so well said. :P)

I tried to get a guy friend into it, but he abandoned me half way through the hour. I couldn't believe it...Walk away from Jennifer Garner? He's still hung up on Dark Angel, so Jessica Alba will always be numero uno in his book. I was like, "Yeah, she was cute, but Sidney does it in HEELS! And shiny dresses! With her hair down!" (I can't even brush my teeth with my hair down.)

LOL Joanne! My DH still pines for Dark Angel! But he loves Sydney Bristow. He has told *every* guy he knows about the episode following the Super Bowl ("What was wrong with the black one!") in an effort to recruit more guys to watch the show!
