View Full Version : My Husband is Awesome.
Anybody else out there love their husbands big time? He fixes things around the house AND whispers sweet things at night.
My husbands it tops too. He fixes everything, does all the hard cleaning and is a gourmet cook. And he's a great Dad. Just melts my heart to see him with his son. We're lucky ladies indeed.

My husband is a great guy in disguise! He said he wasn't sure he wanted to be a father but when I'm busy he plays with the kids and throws them up in the air. He says he doesn't want to fix stuff around the house but when I turn around the broken light in the laundry room is magically repaired. He hates doing household chores, but on days when I go to work (I leave at 5 am) I come home to find the bed made. He doesn't cook, so when I'm too tired to cook he's all ready to order a pizza without complaint.
I love my husband! :)

Mine is great!! He's already in daddy mode, has great nicknames for our son in my belly, and takes care of me in too many ways to list. I don't think there's one thing I would "fix" about him...

Isn't wonderful to be so lucky? Dh's don't realize the points they get from such sweet nothings. Yesterday dh gave me the most loving pat on the back (literally) while we were out on a walk that it just made my heart smile!

Right there with you guys. I adore my DH. He has the patientce of a saint, is so generous and loving, tells me I'm beautiful when I feel awful. The other night I could not settle DS for anything. I woke him up from a sound sleep and said "please try and do something for him" Within minutes DS was sound asleep in his crib. He cuddled him and snuggled an d whispered in his ear. Wonderful.

I agree. My dh is wonderful. Besides being the most wonderful daddy and all the other normal stuff, he's my best friend in the world. I found out yesterday that my closet friend has been angry with me and secretly avoiding me for months and dh held me while I cried and said, "This won't happen because everyone else loves you, but if it comes down to just me and you, it will all be fine. I love you and will always be here for you." Melted my heart.

Oh, Denise, that just makes me cry. I've been there and I know how heartbreaking that can be. Good for your DH for saying the absolute perfect thing. Please come here to vent if you need to--we'll listen!
And on the thread topic, yep, my DH is wonderful--patient when I'm not, kind when I don't want to be, tireless when I'm exhausted, upbeat when I've just had it. I can only hope that I'm as supportive of him when he needs it.

My husband is so thoughtful. He gave me a big gift sack to open at my baby shower. It was full of bibs, onesies, socks, etc. At the bottom, the last thing I pulled out was a little blue Tiffany box. Inside were silver heart-shaped earrings and a note asking me to think of him when I put on one and the baby when I put on the other. I was amazed that he thought of something like that. He is the best!

Denise, that made me cry too. Why do "friends" do that? But wow, what a fabulous thing for your husband to say! What a sweetheart!
And back OT, my DH is pretty great as well. He's the best daddy to Gracie and best friend and companion to me! Yay DH!
