NEVE and TRISTAN

I'm sure most with boys can relate...

Steve had Tristan tucked under his arm last night watching "FOOOOOOTBAAAAALLLLLLL"...he tried to get Tristan to recite Football over and over and over. Forget if he barely can say mama in Steve's eyes his geniusness will only be marked if he can say "football"...

So depending what is on TV at the moment Tristan (in daddy's eyes) will be whatever that is professionally. Poor fella he is already a professional
Surfer, motorcycle rider, car racer, basketball player, baseball player etc...
and as of last night he is a professional "side end, right end, line end, high end, super end..." in fact he is going to be every position I don't think the team will need any other players (HUGE EYE ROLL, and said very sarcastically)....

So as Steve was living vicariously thru this little 18 month old Tristan comes around the corner of the sofa doing what I honestly think he does best at...his imitation of the dancers of "The River Dance" and "Lord of the Dance"....

I was quick to point out that I think Steve's football team is destined to be a dancer!!!!!
Not knocking dancers in the least by the way...just sharing a story of daddy's thoughts vs Tristans :)

Gotta love moments like those! Like when Brig goes straight for his kitchen or wears my shoes around the house instead of Jay's. Men are so funny...

How funny! It is strange how men have all these big dreams of what their sons will be. I think it is so funny when Jacob is trying to get Jackson to play baseball and he is working on his "form" and all Jackson wants to do is sweep the floor. Jackson is also very interested in putting makeup on. I have to admit he has been around it a lot with the Mary Kay, but he wants to do what mommy does. I've been told we need to do more masculine things during the day. Oh well, I know the day will come when mommy isn't so cool anymore so I am enjoying it while it lasts.

My DH got Logan to say "score!" and throw up his arms. He now does it every time he sees any sport. Funny he can understand that it's a sport and not just regular tv. It's real cute.

DH was hoping that DS would be a leftie. His dream is that he would pitch major league baseball. For the Red Sox, no less....No such luck. He is a rightie. And he loves to dance. We call him a daaancer (sort of sounds like monster) Oh yeah, and when he throws a baseball, half the time it falls behind him. Go Red Sox! You need a pitcher like my son!
