Depo-Provera ?

Has anyone had any experience going off of Depo-Provera? I had my last shot in May, and won't be getting any more...I wanted to know when my cycles went back to normal after 3+ years on the Pill, being pregnant, BF, and having the shots...

I can't even remember what I was like when I didn't have hormones running amok in my system, so I'm wondering if there are any signs or symptoms of returning to normal that I might want to be aware of?

Also, since I'm still BF, I have no idea how that will affect the return of "normal" cyles...

I was on it for 5 years...it took me at least a year to return to anything close to normal... Just my experience.... But, I did get pregnant afterward!

I experimented with DP - so wasn't on it longterm. Got maybe 2 or 3 shots. It took me 6-8 months to even have *any sort* of period again. I also gained TONS of weight. Best wishes for getting back to normal. I was so happy when I was regular again.
