Ellen HATES her bath!

Hello Everyone!

Ellen has started absolutely hating bath time. I have bought bath toys, try to make it fun, make sure the water is not too hot, not to cold, and still she screams and cries the whole time she is in the tub!

Any suggestions?

Sharon, have you tried giving her a shower instead? Colin was showering with us regularly by 18 months - he still loves his showers!

Perhaps she would like to give a dolly a bath? Or have you get in with her to splash around? Those helped us get over a short bath-aversion period.

Have you tried blowing bubbles? That worked well for us when Chloe was in a I-hate-baths mode. While you can buy a small bottle initially to get the little wand, I have found that homemade bubble solution using just water and dishwashing soap often works better than the stuff they sell!
