We are attending a party for a co-workers son. I have overheard he is not the best money manager and it sounds like $ gifts is causing some family disputes. I guess a gift would be good. I have never met the kid. I have thought of the following, what do you think?
Laundry bag, laundry detergent, stain stick and a roll of quarters
GF (not cash/check) for Target, BB$B, LnT,....
Grocery bag of dorm food (Easy Mac, Microwave Popcorn, Pop,...)
I am thinking $20-30? Is that cheap?

Your price range seems reasonable to me for a co-worker. It sounds like he will going away to school in the fall. I would do the GF or laundry before I would the dorm food (I doubt it would make it to the dorm IYKWIM). I also think movie passes are a good gift for that age group. HTH

I always do the Laundry idea too!
We have a Container Store near us and I go out there.
They have some really cool big nylon laundry bags that
kinda attach to the closet door.
I think it even got a little shower tote. This is probably
more of a girl thing since I used to haul so much junk
down to the shower with me.
I bought a fabric marker too. I used to write my name on the
inside of my bath towels, washclothes, etc.

Thank you! I received a laundry bag with laundry instructions on it for a graduation gift. I would love to get one, but time is ticking. I'll be at the mercy of BB&B or LnT!
