We took Gabrielle to see Circus Smirkus this past weekend in Vermont. Circus Smirkus is a youth circus presented each summer around New England. It was perfect for a toddler or preschool age child. It is performend by teenagers who attend a circus smirkus camp all summer. Gabrielle has not stopped talking about it. We loved it so much that I am going to take her again in MA next week.
Check out the schedule to see if you can still catch it in your area.

Becca,

We have tickets to see them this weekend. Do you think its appropriate for a 20 month old. I'm afraid she might be a bit young.

Thanks for posting this. We'll be on the Cape when they are performing there so I'll look into getting tickets. Sounds like fun!

Carren,
DD is a VERY active 22 month old and she did great. It is fine if they get wiggly. Take her! You can always leave right? But, I bet you will enjoy it!

Carren,
Please check back in and tell me how you liked it!

And don't worry about the weather. We saw in during a huge storm. The tent kept us completely dry.

Becca,

Sorry for the late posting. First I'd like to say that *I* loved the show (at least what I saw).

Unfortunately, DD was very afraid of the tent. My DH took her to the tent entrance and she watched the first half of the show while her was holding her. We went outside and had some food but no amount of coaxing would get her to be still for the second half so we missed out. We'll definitely try again next year.bg

What a neat concept! :) I'll pass this on to my MA & VT friends.

Thanks!
