I feel like some has mentioned this before... I'm pretty angry and don't want to get into details, but I just threatened on a machine to call the BBB and internet FBI subsidiary.

Just don't shop at Noteshack.com.

I would start with your local police department--call the non-emergency number. Is it too late to go through your credit card company? x(

Not sure about what the circumstances are but we had a bad time with a company several months ago. They sent the wrong product, then the right one kept getting lost by UPS/fed ex according to them although they could never give me a tracking number. Then they stopped returning phone calls and emails. Couldn't get a refund, and it was for about $250 and had gone on for two months. No explanations were given for whey they weren't responding. We stupidly paid through pay pal but not by credit card so we couldn't refute and because they gave us teh run around (we kept giving them chances to rectify things) we were past the 45 day period in which you need to make a claim with paypal (maybe they still would have allowed us to make a claim).

I finally sent them an email saying we were calling the BBB to file a claim and going to report it as fraud to their state attorney general (not sure if this is advisable but that's what we said)

Miraculously they finally refunded my money and responded to my emails.

that's a good starting place. I'm calling my cc card company tomorrow to dispute.

The party was today and I bought generic thank you's. The ones I ordered (from noteshack.com) matched the invite and party theme, but I ordered enough to last through the holidays. At this point, I don't want or need fire truck notecards (since I already wrote the thank yous), so I'm going to dispute and get my money back (or, at least, I *better* get my money back!)

SO FRUSTRATING!

I filed a report with BBB once with my internet service provider when they merged with earthlink and lost my account, and they refunded the money I was owed, so it definitely works.

Julie, I want to hear your story. I love getting riled up about crappy vendors. And since I am a huge stationery addict, I'd love to know the particulars.

If you have the time, you can email me or just reply.
