We use Shutterfly to share photos with family and I was wondering if we could do the same thing with videos. We have a few miniDV tapes that I would love to put online. I remember stumbling upon a site that you could either upload from your computer OR you could actually send them your tapes and they will do that for you (for a small fee of course...), well, I can't find it now!
Anyone is sharing their videos on line and can recommend a site to me?
And for still images, anything better than shutterfly out there?
Thanks,

I did a search and came across two sites that might be what you're looking for...
http://www.sharkle.com
http://www.streamload.com
I'm expecting my first baby in February and have been looking for a website to set up and share pictures with friends and family. I wanted a place that I could keep updated and then my family could just check the site periodically if they wanted to. I've come across http://www.babyjellybeans.com. You can upload videos as well as pictures of your child to share. There is a monthly fee though.
I hope the suggestions help!

I've e-mailed small video files with www.yousendit.com and had no problems what so ever. I believe the limit is 100 MB.
The site below has a good comparison of available options, you can pick what suits you. I also tried using dropit and the server was always busy and just took forever (despite my high-speed connection and relatively modest file size) so I quit halfway.

I know you can put video clips on a .Mac website, if you have a Mac. You'd need to sign up (pay) for the service and you'd put the clips on your own website.

You can share videos on Sony Image Station, http://www.imagestation.com
I've never used them though as my camera takes videos in a format that's not compatable with their site.

I use dotphoto (www.dotphoto.com) for photo storage and video storage. There's a small fee ($1.95/month) for video and some limits on size, etc. so it may not be the best option for larger files (I don't have a camcorder...just video taken with my digital camera).
I use photo show, you can send pictures along with a boarder and music.

Thanks for posting this! I love that it is secure. I just used it and it's fantastic! You can even set up a 'guest password' so if someone inadvertantly guessed the url of your page they still cannot easily get in!
