Not even pierced ears!

Never smoked a cigarette, either.

I'm such a nerd.

Ears pierced one time each. That's it. And Katie, I've never smoked a ciggy either. We're in the nerd club together!

I have my ears pierced. My little sis has three holes in each ear, plus her cartilege, as well as a tatt, a pierced belly button, and a pierced nose.
Her tatt is actually pretty cool but I just can't commit to any image being on me for LIFE. Plus I don't want to watch it stretch and shrink with every pregnancy.
I'll stick to the spray on ones at the fair. ; )

I never smoked a cigarette either. Neither has my "wild" sister.

No tattoos, body piercing or ciggies either. I have pierced ears but rarely wear earrings, my ears are just *TOO* sensitive (even if I use those sterling silver ones) lol! My ears haven’t closed up or will not but I wish they would-my ears look funny.

Oh, and I’ve never had Alcohol…definitely mild.

Not sure what to put. I have my ears pierced once each, but no "body" piercings or tatoos. So I guess you could say I have piercings, but only in the "conventional" places.

ETA: Contrary to public opinion, I do NOT have a tatoo of Turtle Sex anywhere on my body. ;) Sorry, Susan!

I posted just tattoos, since that's all I have now. I had my tongue pierced (and so did DH years ago), but I took it out when it became a hassle (I had to take it out for work, put it in as I was leaving work so it wouldn't close up).

I has 2 tattoos, one around my ankle that says "as long as there is life, there is hope" in Hindi (the saying is much shorter in Hindi, I don't have a huge cankle!), and one on my back going down my spine in white ink that is an e.e.cummings poem. the poem is "l(", if you know e.e.cummings (it was a big thing for me when I was 19).

I really like both of them, and would and will probably get another one down the road.

ETA: I don't have my ears pierced either. The whole "turning" thing grosses me out. :)

One tattoo around my navel (actually 3 small ones, I guess - a sun, moon and star). They actually weathered the pregnancy very well! Can't say the same for my abdomen, however...

I will be getting at least one more tattoo, but I haven't decided where or what yet. I think I'll have my DH design it.

Well my sis is way more tattooed and pierced than I am. But I do have a 5in Tattoo in my lower back of, you guessed it, a frog. It has not weathered all the weight that I have put on very well at all. :(

At one time my ears each has three holes in them and my cartilage was pierced at the top of my ear.

My sister has three holes in each ear, has her cartilage pierced in the inside of one of her ears. She had a piercing on her bottom lip and in her navel but I think she let those close up. Her nipples are pierced also. She has mom and dad tattooed on each shoulder in Chinese. At one time she also had friend and love above each breast in Chinese with a design going from each one meeting in her cleavage, but she has since been retatooed over that to create a flower and vine design.

I said neither, but would like to have a body pierce.

I'm Type I diabetic, and have been since the age of 4. I was in really bad control up until my mid-twenties. I didn't take care of myself, drank, did drugs (pot and acid), and frequently got skin infections due to the bad state of my diabetes. For those reasons, I couldn't get the nose pierce and Pisces tattoo that I wanted. Now, I'm too old! Besides, I'd never hear the end of it from my uptight, accountant husband if I did it.

Sheila

ETA: At one point I had 4 piercings in one ear, and 2 in the other. They kept getting infected though, so the top ones (4th and 2nd) I let close up. Now I have 3 in one and 1 in the other, but I never wear earrings anymore.

I wouldn't call myself wild, but I do have a pierced nose. (Love it!)
I had by belly button pierced for a short period of time but it was annoying so I took it out. I had double piercings in my ears a long time ago, but they closed up. These days, I rarely wear any earrings or jewelry except my nose stud and my wedding ring.

I don't have any tattoos. I've been mildly tempted to get a religious one, but I don't want to commit to having a tattoo forever. If tattoos lasted, say, 5 years and then magically faded I'd have one. :D

I voted just tattoos, but I do have my ears pierced. Just two holes in each ear now, but it used to be 3 and 3 with 1 cartiledge piercing. I had my tongue pierced for about 2 hours, decided to take it out because it was annoying me. I have two tattoos right now, one on my left chest area and the other on the small of my back.

In the past three days I've become addicted to Miami Ink (Nunez is soooooo hot!!) and am planning my next tattoo in memory of my mom.

Well, I have three holes in my left ear and two in my right, but nothing else. I think I belong more in the mild category, no drugs or smoking ever. Alcohol, well that's another story for another time! ;)

Another nerd here. Other than regular earring holes, no piercings, no tattoos and definitely no stinky, disgusting cigarettes. Prefer to keep it that way too. But I've always been the nerd in my family. At my brother's wedding a couple of weeks ago, DH after taking in the appearances of the members of my extended family says to me - "are you the only one in your family that doesn't have a tattoo?" It was pretty funny but sooo true!

Like a few others, I'm also a nerd. I have an earring in each ear (the original studs), no tats and I've never even been tempted to try a cigarette or cigar.

I voted for no tattoos or piercings and going to stay that way. However, I go through phases of wanting to get a small tattoo to commemorate my daughter, but I can't think of a fitting tribute.

If extra holes in the ears count, then I guess I voted for a tatoo and body piercings. I have three holes in one ear and two in the other and a tatoo (or two, depending on how you count) around my left ankle--flowers and a butterfly...I'm not someone you would expect to be anything other than "mild," so this was my own form of rebellion!

No tatoos just ears and belly ( at one point). Almost got a tat when my sister got hers. The jury is still out you never know.

OT-- what does not smoking have to do with having piercings or tatoos? I noticed several posters included it in their post.

Whenever I consider a tattoo I imagine what it will look like when I'm 70 (and imagine the pain ;)) and that pretty much stops me dead.

75% of the time I don't wear earrings out of pure laziness, so it makes no sense to add extra empty holes!

My sister, OTOH, has 5 tattoos and goodness knows how many piercings, including her tongue. My brother has 3 tattoos. The flaming soccer ball on his chest is definitely going to be the talk of the nursing home staff someday :)

A friend of mine likes to tell about the 80+ year old lady she attended with a tattoo that says "the party is down here" with an arrow pointing toward, well, you get the picture. This gal must have really enjoyed the Roaring '20's. ;-)

Well, these days I'm a completely conservative mom. Hence the single blue stripe in my hair instead of my head being doused in Manic Panic, lol.

Seriously though, I don't know. I still go into the pit at shows. I go to the bar with my friends but I don't get wasted anymore. I don't do drugs anymore but I sure used to. Like I said in another thread, it's not like I smoked crack but my high school boyfriend sold pot and I dropped acid.

I have my right eyebrow pierced as well as two holes in both my ears. No tats though. I love them, but I cry when I get my blood drawn. I've been with people when they're being tattooed; they're fine and I'm ready to pass out. With the way I dress...Well, I'll just say I don't look like the other moms in our neighborhood, lol.

I don't think I'm *that* wild anymore. But I'd like to think I'm not boring either. :)

LMAO: I just wanted to add that I'm not in the pit or drinking these days. That would be REALLY wild.

I have a West African tribal symbol called a Sankofa tattooed on my upper back. It's placed so that you can't see it unless I wear a swimsuit or something with a low neckline. It means "you must look back to move forward". I got it when I was 21 and I have never regretted it.

Now, I can't say the same thing about once having my left nipple pierced - YEOWWW!!

Well, I don't know, but I also don't think tatoos or piercings are the indicator. My middle sister has 3 very pretty (one of them quite large) tatoos, and I would not peg her as "wild". I have none, BTW.

omgrown

I guess I fall into the "wild" category as far as tattoos and piercings go. I have 5 tattoos, the largest and most visable of which is a peacock "sleeve" on my left arm that goes just below my elbow. Hell, I co-own a tattoo shop! But mostly my wildest days are behind me, or at least on hold while I'm growing another little bean. I have no regrets about any of my tattoos or piercings (I've had my navel and tongue pierced in the past, although those are both closed up and I currently have a "monroe" which is a piercing just above the right side of my lip, think Marilyn Monroe's birthmark). Nonetheless, I just really like to decorate my body and see tattoos and piercings as adornment and artwork. I'm definitely not done getting tattooed (although I'm probably done with piercings). And after this baby is born and weaned, I'll be back under the needle.
Oh, and now that I've given birth, getting tattooed is nothing! And doesn't last for 31 hours at a time either!
If anyone's every in the NYC area and itching for a tattoo, give me a shout, we love tattooing mama's around here!

I have pierced ears. I've always been fascinated by tattoos and love to look at them but I would never get one. Mainly because I would probably want to remove it after a while or change it, I get bored easily. Not to mention my uncles and BIL who have several all say the same thing: Don't do it! My sister had several and has since had them lazered off.

I think I'll learn from others' experiences but will continue to look.

I used to have my ears pierced twice, but the top ones have definitely closed up. If I work at it, I can get a pair of earrings through the bottom holes, but it grosses me out each time, since it's almost like I'm re-piercing my ears.

No tattoos, but I did do a minor experiment in scarification when I was 17.. just the initial of my then-boyfriend (and now husband) on my ankle. It's so faint now you can barely see it. Every now and then I think about redoing it.

My 18 yr old sister has two tattoos, (Cellar Door between her shoulder blades, and a bird on her forearm). My dad just got his first tattoo at 47, an Icelandic rune on his upper arm. I may at some point get a small tattoo somewhere, but I can't make up my mind.

None of us are very wild, though. I've never smoked or done drugs, and only drink occasionally. I have been known to be a bit of a handful in other ways (cough, cough), but only ever with my husband.

I'm a total conservative nerd here :) I have my ears pierced (one hole each)--and that's it. Never smoked, drank (more than one sip of wine which I hated, on my honeymoon), drugs, etc.

BUT

I secretly want a tatoo on my ankle of a beaded ankle bracelt :) But I'm waaaay too chicken to go thru with the pain. Also I'm afraid I may change my mind some day. But I've been thinking about it for years. My family would just die, LOL!
