Does anyone know when the Land's End swimsuits will go on sale (the one's for women)? I was thinking of buying one of the Faille halter's and bottoms or swim mini (skirt). They have marked them down somewhat but nothing significant. Also, how do these run? TIA

Not sure when they will go on sale, but I have a set, and I think they run big. I bought a size smaller than I usually do in swimsuits, and still the top is a bit baggy at the bottom.

I agree about the sizing. Mine fits fine, but I would've preferred one size smaller (which they did not offer). I got the swim mini and really like it.

That's funny. Everyone I know who has ordered them (including myself) has found they run small. I ordered a size larger than my regular LE size.

I've though of getting a LE swimsuit but their smallest size is a 6. I don't think that's going to fit. Especially if they run big. I'm really worried about the top. I'm a 32B, maybe even a 32A now. I usually wear a 2 on top and 4 on bottom. Do you think the 6 is worth a try?

I am a similar size, and ordered a six. The top has a built in padded bra, and you can't really tell that I don't quite fill it out. I would just order one, and if it is too big, returns are simple. I had to exchange the top for the long version, and it was a snap.

pps,
it sounds (to me) like it might be too big. I am bigger on top than you, and the 6 fit well in the bust but was large around the waist. I wear a size 6 bottom, and the size 6 swim mini and the size 6 bikini bottom (#3 opening) fit just right.
I didn't try the halter, though. Mine was the lingerie top. Maybe the halter would be less baggy?
DH doesn't love my suit, lol. He'd rather me in less suit. I say, after I lose my last 5-10 lbs!

Do you think they will sell out of size 6's before the final markdown? PP, that's funny b/c my DH feels the same way. I do have a 2 piece that shows my tummy but that is for lounging around on the beach. We are taking DD to an indoor waterpark and i just want something cute but comfortable and covered since i know she will be hanging all over me!

I ordered a size larger in the swim mini and the high neck top. Ordered actual size in the halter top and the lingerie style top.
If you live near an Inlet, they have some pieces on sale this week. I was there today and got 3 pieces from last season for 75% off the lowest marked price and one of the sport swim skirts for $42 ($10 off). They had some tankini and one-piece styles marked down + an additional 25% off.
