Hello,

DS's best friend from daycare is moving away :-(
I would like to get him a going away present, but I am drawing blank.
I would like it to be something about lasting friendship, or something like that if possible.

Help! :-)

TIA.

How about a picture of DS and his friend together? Or a little photo album with pictures? DD has an album of relatives she doesn't see often and loves it. Or maybe some postcards for him to send to DS. My DD is 3 and really enjoys 'writing' cards. HTH. Let us know what you decide!

I think that is an great idea. When one of the "babies" from our childbirth class moved away, we gave her a book that had a page from each "baby" with drawings (they were 2 by this point) and photos. Her mom says it is still one of her favorite things - her book of friends.

ETA: If your daycare class is close, maybe you could organize something similar from the class? If not, maybe you could find a few pictures of your child and him together...
