We will attend the wedding of my DH's friend next month. We will stay at his parent's house. Our DD will be 12 months at that time. I am wondering whether we need the crib. Can you share with me your experience or give me some advice? Thanks so much!
IME, you won't need a crib, but you'd do well to use a Pack 'n' Play.

At that age we just put her in the pack and play with no problems. She was crawling at that point (I assume your DD is too) so I wouldn't just put her on the bed or even on the floor.

I would definitely bring (or borrow/rent while you're there) a PnP. The house you're staying at probably won't be child proofed, so you don't want your daughter waking up and wandering around while you're still sleeping (or while you think she's taking a nap).
