What's your favorite thing about YOU

I was running this morning and I looked down at my thighs and just enjoyed how strong they were getting me through this run. Now that is not the usual thought I have about my thighs, so I thought to myself, ok "what do you like about yourself?" So play along--but no positive/negative comparisons--eg. compared to my rear my arms look great :-)

My favorite body part: My strong thighs because I can backpack/hike, plod forever. I have a nice long back. I actually have a pretty collarbone :-)

My favorite personality trait: I am an optimist--I always hope for the best. I am practical--I expect only what can be delivered. I am resiliant--I bounce back after adversity and figure out a way to make it work.

I've got really bad eyesight, but that works to my advantage... it makes me look much thinner...so I love my eyes. God Bless you Astigmatism.
I like my nose. Straight, not huge like my mom's and not squat like my dad's, just a nice straight nose.

Personality trait- I'm funny. I like being funny, I like to make people laugh. Especially at inappropriate times.

I'm happy with my overall body. Not in looks, but I like to think that I'm pretty strong because I can do things like OP, backpack/hike, plod forever, carry loads. Even in this pregnancy, I'm happy can wear Dora on my back when I need to. With her that comes to pretty close to 200 lbs (did I just admit that?)

Personality trait - I can give pretty hard feedback in a very diplomatic way without diluting. Years of teaching in a girls school, I guess :-)

fav body part: my eyes, they're an unusual slate blue color up close, but i like that when i wear any shade of green, blue or purple they pretty much look that color.

fav trait: mmm, that's harder. tennacity maybe? - once i set a goal or identify a problem i usually see it thru. i like my creativity too.

Hmm, let's see. I love my upperbody. It's very well proportioned and up until my second child I had phenomenal breasts. Even now that the old girls are saggy, I still like how i look in strapless and sleeveless tops. My thighs and saddlebags are a different story.

Personality trait: I'm very organized. I have a very strong self-esteem and generally like myself (thanks mom and dad). Most of the time I"m upbeat and can find humor in most situations.

My favorite body part: probably my lips, if I had to choose. Or my upper arms.
They are fairly toned from carrying around my son. Too bad I can't carry my
son using my booty.

My favorite personality trait: I have 2 favorites. (I like myself, can you tell??)
I think I'm a fairly funny person. I also love to make people laugh at very
inappropriate times. (Kristen, we could get ourselves into some serious trouble!)
Unfortunately, my sister and I were laughing quite hysterically all the way through
my grandma's funeral. I tend to laugh at funerals. Not sure why.

And, my 2nd thing I like is that I am honest. I will always give you an honest
answer. Sometimes, you might not like what I tell you but I will never give
you some BS answer.

My fav body part: probably my legs. They've always been strong with minimal labor at keeping them so, probably from years of clogging (dancing), which never felt like work. I also like my eyes. They're on the small side, but really oddly colored. (Quite a few people believe that they're yellow.)

My fav personality trait: hmm. That's harder for me. I don't know how to write what I'm meaning without sounding kind of stuck up, but I don't mean it that way. I have an abaility to bring people together around me. I don't always feel like I'm an important part once things are going strong, but usually I'm a catalyst in bringing people together in the first place. Does that make sense?

My favorite thing about myself is my rockin' little body. LOL I look the same now as I did before I had kids, even when I'm naked.

The best part of these replies is that being a mom obviously breeds a great sense of humor--how else would we survive?

My favorite one is the idea that my body looks the same and after....I guess I will add that to my list of "Why it's a good idea to have kids at 40". By then your body is so shot, that the after baby body won't make a difference. :-)

Physical: I have green eyes and great legs. Also, I am pretty darn strong.

Personality: Self confidence to speak in public, meet new people, stand up for myself and others. Also, I am very loyal.
