Just thought I'd pop into my fave place to say hi to all! I hope to be back soon, but online time is limited. I've lurked a bit but thats all....

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has recs for some good WATERPROOF WAHM made breast pads? I have wool ones from luxe and am leaking right through/under them so I want something with PUL, etc for now. I love the oval shape of mine ( more discrete) but will look at anything at this point! If anyone has good recs, please e-mail me - I don't get here very often.

Gotta run - cranky girlie here on my lap! Might be back to ask about reflux :(
Thanks much in advance!

No ideas on the nursing pads with PUL, but I wanted to say hi. Your family is just gorgeous! I hope you're doing well.

PM or email Shandelle--she said she could make some backed with PUL for me when I asked a couple months ago. I imagine any WAHM who makes them and diapers could whip some up for you fairly easily.

Thanks. Looks like Shandelle is having back problems - poor girlie :( I was hoping some diaper WAHM had them instock, but I may just start "fishing" for someone soon. I need to find something else. Picked up some lansinoh ones - eewwww, that super gel polimer creeps me out! YUCK!

Lynne, if you don't mind the lumps, I was using some of DD's thicker washcloths folded in fourths because all the disposable ones gave me a rash. I did have some regular WAHM made breast pads, but I was a major squirter/leaker and went through those waaaay too quickly for the longest time. So I just used her washcloths and didn't worry about it. Worked like a charm, too.

ETA: I was using the nice thick sherpa velour wipes, but I bet you could also use hemp wipes if that would be more trim/absorbent for you.
