View Full Version : It's time for another co-op.

What bags do you want to order? Let's get another co-op going!! I need new bags. :)
06-22-2004, 02:00 PM
Please, please, please, no more co-ops! Have mercy on poor, weak little me! lol
(Though, if there were a Fleurville co-op that included the Alpha 7, I would be hard-pressed to pass that one up. hint hint) ;)
06-22-2004, 02:03 PM
My vote is for the Alpha 7, but I might also be interested in a WW coop (I missed out on the first one).
06-22-2004, 02:07 PM
I'd go for a WW co-op (even though I just ordered one) - I'll need something with fall/winter fabrics!
06-22-2004, 02:12 PM
I was thinking the same thing!
I'm thinking I need an animal print bag for fall/winter. Or maybe some nice dark stripes.

I just ordered a couple from Ella Bags. (They shipped today! Yeah! I will post photos upon arrival!)
Anyway, Ella Bags indicated that they would be willing to do a co-op.
06-22-2004, 02:24 PM
My vote is for a Chester!! :)
ETA: Or a Loom Bandicoot.
06-22-2004, 02:27 PM
I'd go for a Chester bag, too...
06-22-2004, 02:54 PM
I think it would be great to find a site that carried a few of the brands we like and see if we can just get a coupon code. Kind of like what we did with diaperbags.com some months back. I can think of one place in particular that I could contact....
I have my eye on an Ella, a Bandicoot, and I think I've sold my soul to Chester...I would love a general Chester coupon code. They have a cute new picnic blanket out that I totally "need".

I vote for Loom... I would love one of the Bandicoot bags! My second choice would be Fleurville.
By the way, does Chester have a website? I'd like to look at their bags since everyone seems to be interested in them!
06-22-2004, 04:58 PM
I'm in if we do a Chester co-op...

I vote for a Bandicoot.

Another Chester vote from me :)

Maybe a Bandicoot if I like the review of the inside when it comes out.Though I never spent that much on a bag so don't know if I could get it.

Right now, I'd be interested in just about any! An Alpha 7 or Mothership for sure (although I just posted in the Fleurville co-op thread!)...ah, any!
06-22-2004, 09:09 PM
I am interested in a Mothership. I am impatiently awaiting my WW, which I ordered off her website b/c I missed the co-op, so another WW co-op would also be great. I'm a soon to be new mom, who has already fallen victim to diaper bag-itis. I can't imagine that he will be 6 months old without me having at least 4 diaper bags under my belt. :)

Chester vote from me, too!
mom to 1 year old twin girls

Allright, I've got it bad. I blame Mariana for my bag obsession (it has now spread beyond diaper bags) b/c she writes such great reviews and makes me feel like my collection is small! Anyway, I really like the Chester picnic blanket, am eyeing the Alpha 7 and also anxiously awaiting reviews on the Bandicott. So......sign me up!

I might be interested in a Chester bags co-op. Or Bumble Bags.
Lisa - mom to 1 yr old twin boys
ETA: I'd also be interested in an Ella co-op...I've been eyeing the new Ultimate Diaper Bag....

Bandicoot! :-) (Loom)
06-23-2004, 09:19 AM
I'm starting to think I should be charging commission from the diaper bag companies! You can't blame me for your obsession, it was in you all along, I just fed it!

Loom Bandicoot or Chester! :)

I might want to do an Ella Bag co-op too.

How about Talene Reilly?
First due in CA in October

Beautiful bags that I had not seen before today. Thanks for the tip!
06-25-2004, 06:06 PM
I vote for a WW coop. I missed out on the last one as well, but I did place an order anyway and I am anxiously waiting for my bag. However, I wouldn't mind getting another one - maybe with a baseball theme for my husband to carry around.
Hi!!! I am new to this list and I am wondering about co-ops ? How do you do a co-op? Tell me all there is to know. I would love to get an Alpha 7 bag in red if it is cheaper this way.
Thanks for the info.!

Victoria - the Fleurville one finished but I think I saw a red Alpha on ebay! hope that helps!

I too need an education here. What is a co-op? I've never heard of some of these names... Chester, Bandicott...
I bought a Petunia Picklebottom bag a year ago, or so. I'm sure I said to myself, 'One overpriced, fancy diaper bag is plenty'. Surely that would have satisfied me.... until now of course.
I checked out the ww and ella websites, and their products are darling.

Hi! A co-op is what happens when someone on this board makes an arrangement with a store or manufacturer for a special discount on their products. You'll see co-ops in all the forums, strollers, slings, diapers, etc.
Right now, here in the diaper bag forum, there is a co-op with:
1. Ella Bags (www.ella-bags.com)
2. Free ground shipping from Chester (www.chesterhandbags.com)
3. 10% off + free shipping on Bumble Bags from Wendy at Tangerine Tots
4. Timbuk2 (www.timbuk2.com) co-op (sign up for the Yahoo group to get the discount)
To answer your question about the bag names...Chester Handbags makes lots of good diaper bags (www.chesterhandbags.com) and the Bandicoot is the new model of diaper bag the Loom (www.loomlife.com) is releasing next month. :)
Hope this helps!

Don't forget there's also a Timi & Leslie (www.timiandleslie.com) co-op that's going on until July 10.
The co-op link is http://home.earthlink.net/~nooden/
07-07-2004, 01:53 PM
Don't forget about the Kecci co-op!
Thanks for the describing what a co-op is, I had no idea they have them for diaper bags. What a great idea! I am interested in buying a Fleurville Alpha 7 and someone mention that there is a Fleurville co-op on Yahoo groups. I have tried to find it, but with little success. Do you have any idea of how I can get to it ? Thanks again!

HI, I'm new to this diaper bag craze but as I was going through the site I was sad that I missed the WW co-op. Therefore I vote for another WW co-op.
