Starting a new thread on this bc my earlier thread is kindof lost on the massive mineral makeup thread. And I know a lot of members were looking for brushes to use with the mineral makeup.

My good friend, who also recommended everyday minerals to me, just gave me a site for brushes that are sooooo cheap! They are $1 a brush or $5-$15 for a brush kit. She claims they're very good. And I guess for $1 a brush you can't go wrong, right?

I just bought a full set of make-up brushes at Costco. They are the Borghese/Kirkland Brand. The kit contains: powder brush, angled brush, foundation brush, brow/lash groomer, eyeshadow brush, precision eyeshadow brush, angled eye countour brush, flat eyeliner brush, eye smudger, fine eyeliner brush, lip brush with cover, bronzer(just like a kabuki), eyelash curler, and a case. The cost was 17 or 18 bucks. I thought it was a pretty good deal for what you get.

I really am not sure I know what to look for in great brushes. My Sonia Kashuk ones from Target have been just fine for a couple of years now. Sometimes I wonder if I don't know what I am missing. I have only looked at the Borghese ones briefly, but they seem to be decent quality and are pretty soft.

I am really loving them. There has been virtually no shedding and they are really soft. I like the kabuki one much better than the one that I got from Everyday Minerals. Let me know if there is anyhitng else you would like to know, but for the price I say go for it.

Ok, I'm sold. Heading there today. They've been calling out my name everytime I go there. I'm not familiar with Borghese's products but I saw them at Target-like stores all over Paris. My friend bought a Borghese lip gloss and loves it. Hope their brushes are just as lovable. Thanks for the input!
