What is Cyber Monday on Ebates all about?

Ha! I have to laugh because DH asked me what my plans were for "cyber Monday". I had no idea what he was talking about, so he explained to me that it is the biggest online shopping day, supposedly lots of deals tomorrow. According to him, it started because people went back to work on Monday, and everyone used to have dial-up (slow) connections at home, and faster connections at work, so it was easier to shop when they returned to work on the Monday after Thanksgiving.

I truly thought he was making it up :)

Is there a link that tells about it on Ebates? I didn't see anything on the site.

This is too funny. I asked my husband as well and he said the same thing. He too said that I would be busy tomorrow and I told him that tomorrow looked like an ok day and he said didn't I know it was Cyber Monday, one of the biggest on-line shopping days? Oh boy, Monday should be interesting at least entertaining! I also thought he was making it up!

I did not see anything else on Ebates either. I guess we will be waiting by our computers!

I don't know the specifics about tomorrow's Cyber Monday on Ebates, but I did get the email & am an avid Ebate-er, LOL, so I'll tune in to see what it is all about.

I remember in the past they had a special "Tune in on such-and-such day & see our incredible special announcement" type thing & it was a day filled w/special double rebates from certain retailers & triple rebates from others. I'm thinking that's what it will probably be tomorrow.

All I know is that if they somehow have a deal where I could have gotten an even better deall on a Dyson tomorrow, than the deal I got tonight, I'll be P.O.'d! LOL

Everything thru Ebates today is double the rebate amount!!

The rebate amounts are always doubled but a lot of them are... There is a countdown clock at the top of the home page for how much longer these last!

I am so angry! I just placed an order late last night and now the store is 12% instead of 6% this morning! Talk about loosing out!
