Boob biting! Is this related to teething at your house?

Kylee has started biting me all of a sudden this week and it's bad enough to make me want to wean! I think she even broke the skin the last time. I still don't know if she has Hand foot and mouth or if she's teething or what, but the motrin and tylenol have been helping some. So, I was just curious if anyone else had seen any biting/teething correlation.

Although Forrest is 6mo younger than Kylee, he went through a biting phase when his front teeth came in last month. It only lasted a few days, and it really seemed related to his teeth. Yikes, very ouchy though. I pushed him into the boob when he bit, so he had to open his mouth to breathe. I told him, no biting mama, matter of factly. Of course, he understands very little at his age, but what the heck. Luckily, when the teeth were through, he stopped biting.

Just wanted to share a great tip I got. When she bites, push her face in instead of pulling her off. She will let go on her own and your nipple won't be pulled off from pulling as she's biting. Also, they don't like it and usually stop...worked for us anyway.
