Problem with Evenflo Dazzler Straw Cup

I can't get the straw out!!! I'm so frustrated. I'm hoping someone(anyone!) has had the same problem and will have an idea for me.

I tried to get the straw out the wrong way. I bought new replacement straws that show instructions and after following them, I still can't do it. I'm sitting here with pliers trying to yank it out but it won't budge.

Anyone else have this problem? If so, please share your solution! Thanks!

Yes, I had the same problem, my solution was to buy a different brand of cup! :) I have tried them all and prefer the Munchkin Big Kid Straw Cups.

I finally got the straw out and will see how it does when I do it *correctly*. :P
