I was given a Fisher Price Aquarium Healthy Care High Chair and I want to know if anyone has any opinions on if I should exchange it for the Deluxe Healthy Care High Chair. I like the idea of having 3 trays but people were raving about the toy on the aquarium. I'm going to be a first time mom so any advise is appreciated.
Thanks,
Shannon

Well, we have the Deluxe model, with the 3 trays, and we've only ever used one of them. It's just too much hassle trying to find a place to store the other 2 trays in our kitchen, and it's just as easy to wash the one we use right after each meal. Besides, it's not like you'll only have to wash the snap-in tray, the part that actually attaches to the chair gets messy enough to have to wash every time too. (In fact, for potentially extra-messy meals we don't even bother with the snap-in portion of the tray!)

I don't know anything about the aquarium toy, although if it's as good as the crib toy it's probably worth it. Another thing to consider is that unless you plan on cleaning the toys after every meal you'll probably never use them once the high chair is used for feeding purposes. But, we used our chair from the time Carrie was 2 months old (that recline feature is great!) and didn't start solids until she was nearly 6 months, so we really liked the link-a-doos toys that came with our chair.

I guess that's a very long-winded way of saying that you probably won't miss the extra trays, and once your baby is actually eating in the chair you will probably retire the toys. I'd personally go with whichever pattern you like best, or whatever's most convenient - since you already have the aquarium chair, it's probably easier to keep it than exchange it!

Good luck!
Sarah :)
