One of the straws that goes in the bottom of Sophie's platex sippies met it's end today in the dishwasher - it hit the element and melted.

Does anybody know where I can get replacement straws?

These are the straw cups right? We used the straws from first years Take and Toss straw cups. They fit, and although they're not quite as long as the Playtex straws, they work, if you can't find anything else.

Yes! The straws from the disposable cups fit perfect if you just cut off a tiny bit on one end to make it shorter. And it's cheap considering you get about 5 of them for $3--versus paying to replace one Playtex cup for $3.99 if it's missing the straw. I was so glad when I figured this out the other day :) They stopped selling replacement straws 2 years ago, so we mamas would have to spend more money buying more of their cups. Well, not this mama!

Walmart makes a replacement straw for their straw sippies that also works on Playtex cups. You do have to trim it some, however.

I just ordered some from this website. These are the same as the Playtex ones (no need to cut)

You can also order the soft plastic upper straw. Got tons of cups but kept on losing those darn straws in the dishwasher so it was worth buying these!
