View Full Version : Sippy cups that don't suck?

Does anyone make a sippy cup that doesn't leak or drip?
We've been using Evenflo's and both styles have their shortcomings. On one the lil white plastic insert falls out if it's dropped allowing the liquid to free-flow out of the nipple. The other style has a hole in the top for air flow I guess and the liquid leaks out of it once the small soft plastic plug works its way off.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

We use the Take n' Toss sippies--they are super cheap and don't leak (they also have no valves). We buy them at Target. Love 'em!

The TnT ones are good in that they don't leak, but if you turn them upside down, some drops do come out and you can shake the liquid out. We have a few of the Nalgene ones and they work quite well without leaks. If you drop them from chair level or something like that, the valves don't tend to come out. It's only if you drop them from a 7 foot cat tree (like Kaya did this morning, LOL) that the valve pops out. But she's tossed them across the room or dropped them from her seat and the valve has remained in. It seems to stay in a bit better than some of the other sippies that have valves.

The Take N Toss ones work well for us, and as the pp said, they are super cheap. I bought some more expensive ones, but my baby doesn't like them as well. That's okay with me!!!

We haven't tried the Take N Toss ones yet. A family friend recommended the Nuby. It doesn't leak and has no valves that come loose when DS throws it. The soft spout is perfect since DS has a natural tendency to chew on everything.

I found it at my local Target. I believe WalMart carries it also.

ours have to be leak proof under duress... dd likes to tap them spout down on solid surfaces (coffee table) so the take and toss did not work for us. we like the parent's choice (hard spout and insulated) from walmart and the circo (i think) 99cent ones from target.

My favorite sippy is the Playtex one. And now it comes in a soft spout, which DD just loves. It does leak a little when she drops it (I think what comes out is the milk that stuck in the spout), but the valve on that cup never gets loose or comes out...it's great!!
HTH and good luck!
