I recently purchased the avent bottle warmer, and I'm not entirely thrilled with it. It doesn't have auto shut off, and the light doesn't always turn on. I was wondering if anyone knows of a better warmer?

I had one for a while that I never used - returned it. I would just heat water in a bowl in the microwave and put the bottle in that. Worked faster IMO.

I hated the Avent, but had good luck with the Munchkin warmer.

We have the Munchkin deluxe bottle/food warmer that we really like. It is $19.99 at Target, not a bad price.

Nope, never bought one. I thought about it for about a minute though.

We would just run the bottle under hot tap water and that took the chill off. Or sometimes gave it to him straight from the fridge. Both ways worked and both methods are free. :)

We have the Quick Serve Bottle Warmer by The First Years and we really love it:

We had this one too, but a slightly more "deluxe" model. Ours had two water containers and a little cooler on the back that had an ice pack and held 2 bottles.

When DD was still waking during the night (or waking within a 8 hour period, which is how long it's supposed to keep things cold), we'd put her bottle(s) in there before we went to bed. Then, when she woke up, we'd pop the bottle in while changing her diaper. Sometimes would also use it to warm a bottle out of the fridge during the day, if we were feeding in DD's room.

We found it super convenient...may not have gone out to buy it ourselves, but we got it as a gift and loved it.

I also used this one by The First Years and was very happy with it. It just takes a few times to get used to how much water to use.

I had a tiny little crock pot thing (it actually came with my large crock pot) that i used all the time. It worked just fine for me. My DH did go out and buy a bottle warmer but my little crock pot worked so well I took the warmer back.
