Can I store breast milk in Avent bottles? I have a Medela pump and am considering buying the pump conversion kit for avent bottles and buying the Avent bottles with the lids for refrig storage. Anybody have experience with this system? I am now pumping into different bottles and transferring to the Avent bottles and I am trying to make sure every last drop goes in the bottle since I don't have a large milk supply right now. Help!

Why not just buy extra Medela bottles for fridge storage? You can even get nipples to feed directly from the Medela bottles.

You could store breastmilk in Avent bottles and use the system you're proposing. However, some people have been avoiding Avent bottles because they're made of "bad" plastic (do a search to learn more).
I also have a very low milk supply, so every last drop counts for me too. I was frustrated because some milk (especially the fat gobules from the hind milk) sticks to the sides of the Medela bottles. So now I'm pumping into glass bottles and feeding from those. I'm much happier because I feel like my DD is getting all the milk that I pump now. Could be worth a try for you too.

Do you happen to know which nipples work on the Medela bottles? Thanks!

Medela nipples definitely work on Medela bottles.

I have an Ameda pump, bought the conversion kit and pumped into and stored in the Avent bottles. It worked very well for me. However, I froze in the Avent Via re-usable disposables and had a rather negative experience with leaking and breakage. I'm two months away from DS#2, and given all of the negativity over the plastic in Avent bottles, am torn about what I'll do this time!
Good luck - if the plastic issue isn't eating you up, the conversion kit worked perfectly.
