Infant seats on an Expedition Jogger

Do all bucket type infant cariers fit all strollers/joggers? We have a Baby Trend jogger and in the store it feels like the Graco seats fit it fine, but does anyone have real world experince? The Flex-Locks that go with it are safe from what I have heard, but I am leaning towards one of the higher rated infant seats if we don't get a Boulevard from Day 1.

I'm wondering why you need to put a bucket seat into a jogger? Is the jogger your only stroller?

Yes, I hate travel systems and the type of strollers that come with them, and fitness and parks is what we will mainly be using a stroller for. I rarely, if ever, go into malls and the Expedition is no larger than the other strollers (except for an umbrella, which we already have and a Combi lightweight for when baby is older). I don't plan on using it that way often, but was just wondering about so I tried it in BRU the other daya nd it seemes like it would work if needed.

I would say if it sits there nicely go for it. We had the Expedition system because DS was born in Sept and we knew we would be at the soccer fields often and thought it would be nice to keep him sleeping in the car seat and warmer. However the fields were so bumpy we ended up just using a sling for the baby, and the Expedition was just okay as a stroller but I am kind a stroller junky, we ended up giving both to my cousin and buying the Mountain Buggy Urban Single :)

As far as the Flex Loc I liked it but he outgrew it at 4-5m I LOVED the Safe Seat 1 I replaced it with though!
