Am I crazy to buy white Pedipeds?

So I haven't actually had to buy DD's shoes yet-- at 11 months she's still in her 0-6 month Robeez that she got as a gift, but I think I need something more substantial for outdoors now that it's warmer (and she's near-walking). I saw these cute summer-y white Pedipeds that would go great with her summer outfits.

But, will they be dingy after a week of toddling? Should I just get a more practical color and cheap cute white sandals for the occasional dress-up?

Well, my son's Pedipeds were brown, but I was AMAZED at how well they held up - even once he started walking outside. IMHO they are a quality shoe, but then again, they are white...

i am not worried. they should be easy to clean and care for since they are leather.

DD wore these last summer and they held up really well. They are adorable!!

My DD wore white Pedipeds last summer, and they are super easy to clean. I would just wipe them down with a wet paper towel, and all the dirt came right off. They are great shoes!

My DD is on her fourth or fifth pair of pedipeds and they have all held up beautifully even with daily wear outside at daycare and my IL's. None have been white though...

Mr. Clean eraser takes off the stuborn stains. DD got ballpoint pen on her white ones and it all came off. It even took the footprint stains off the bottom of a pair of robeez.

DD has the same white pair and they are holding up well. mind you she doesn't wear it often, but if it does get dirty, we just wipe it with a damp cloth.

We got these shoes for DD last summer when she was a year old, and they were fabulous. They were very pretty, comfortable, went with everything and weren't hard to care for at all. A diaper wipe or water was all it took to clean it. I highly recommend them.

Pedipeds are also machine washable. I have put them in the washer & they come out looking like new!

I was going buy DD those too but she is a *trainwreck* and is dirty w/ in 5 min of dressing.

Really? It doesn't say that on any of the 5 packages of Pedipeds that I have. Have you washed them multiple times and they still look ok?

I just have to say, 3 mos later, that the shoes have held up great and look very cute! We get compliments all the time. Plus she walks really well in them and they seem comfy.

I haven't thrown them in the washer though, only spot-cleaned (but hardly need to do that).

My 16mo G/G twins both have white Pedipeds ... they recently wore them to an outdoor wedding and they still look fabulous! They have also worn them "around the town" with almost no wear. I highly recommend them!

Ours held up great all summer until she lost one of them last week! :) They still looked new! I miss them! :)

DD has the white mary jane pedipeds (with a bow at the top). All I do to clean them off is wipe with a baby wipe or soap and water. They clean up beautifully.

dd wears these the most and they still look great. she is a crawler so the toes are always getting black. but the lightest swipe with a baby wipe gets them clean and looking like new again.
