Can you fold a Mac up with the board still on?

I'm thinking about getting one (or borrowing a friend's) for our upcoming trip to FL. We're leaving EARLY in the morning and I'm guessing my son won't want to walk much! My plan was to gatecheck the Mac but I can't do that quickly and easily if I can't fold with the board on.

So is it possible?!

It goes on and off really easily, really ony takes a second once it is installed. You need to take it off to fold the stroller but can easily gate check it. Ours actually fit in the Maclaren carry bag with our stroller.
