We live in a rural area...lots of places w/o sidewalks, etc. I'd like to get an All-Terrain/Jogger stroller. For the record, I will not be *jogging*:p ...but do plan on using the stroller for lots of "brisk walks" ;), mainly for exercise and to get DS out of the house.
As I research it seems like there is a big jump from the Jeep Liberty-type strollers (cheapest I found at Amazon.com for $117). Is the next step up Phil&Teds' ($380ish)? I don't mind spending more money for better quality, but I'd like to keep the stroller purchase under $200. Any ideas???

We have the Dreamer Design Manhattan Lite and love it. I thought it was tippy when I first tried it out, but discovered the tires weren't inflated properly and that was causing the problem.
We live in a rural area and I use it for walks on lots of rough terrain and it still is really easy to push and gives a smooth ride for DS. It came with a rain shield - we haven't used it yet - and has a nice peek a boo window in the canopy. It does not have a hand brake, but does have a safety leash.
I'm 5'5" and DH is 6'1" and we can both push it comfortably because the handle is adjustable. Also, the front wheel can be locked stationary or unlocked so it turns.
We got ours from //www.jogging-stroller-superstore.com/
Apparently it's been discontinued, but is still available for $187 if you do a search on the site.

You could also buy a clean, gently used higher end model on our Strollerswap. Many of us use strollers very briefly, then sell or swap them, just to try something new. Kind of a hobby, or passion.

Or addiction. Speaking purely from personal experience, of course! ;)
With DS we got an InStep Safari TT. It was about $125 3 years ago. It's ok for an all terrain, not the best, but not complete junk either. Since then I have gotten a BJCSD that I use for walks with DD and DS together. It was significantly more $$ though.
