Maclaren MX3 vs. Bob Revolution

Hi I'm searching for a stroller to use in wintery mountain conditions. I found that consumer reports rated both the Maclaren MX3 and Bob Revolution about the same and I've been able to find the Maclaren for about half as much as the Bob.

I can't seem to find any reveiws on the Maclaren MX3 however. Has anyone used this stroller? It looks like a good bargain compared to the Bob Revolution, but I'm a little hesitant due to lack of reviews.

Take Consumer Reports with a grain of salt. Their carseat report is usually way off IRL useage too.

IMO the MX3 is nowhere NEAR the quality of a Bob. I almost got one & ended up w/ a Mountain Buggy instead.

Really!? That's suprising, the Baby Bargains Books rates the Mclaren as an A.

The Maclaren umbrella strollers or the Maclaren jogging stroller? Their umbrella strollers are for sure an A. BOB and a few others are more popular (with good reason) in the jogging stroller market.

Looking at the pic on the Mac website (I've never seen one in person) it seems that the wheels are nowhere near what you'd get with a BOB or other similar AW stroller. Maybe that's still OK for where you live, but there's no way the MX3 would work for a Quebec winter, outdoors, and the level of outdoor activities that I do/did in the winter on a regular basis.

Maclaren Umbrellas...def. an A. The MX3....not even slightly comparable to the Bob. Go with the Bob, definitely!!

Sorry I wasn't more clear - Mac's in general "A" their venture into AT strollers-ick. :)
