how old does your child have to be to be in a jogging stroller...like the BOB...do you need a carseat in there...or does a carseat even fit in the BOB

to walk, you can put a nb if the recline is sufficient. - depends on the model.

Our BOB listed an age minimum in the instructions ( 2007 Model; 12" AW Wheels). I think it was either 4 or 6 weeks.

To answer your questions regarding the carseat- the BOB requires an adapter to use with a carseat. It is not brand specific.

newer bob's can be used from birth with the full recline, but not for jogging. for walking it's totally safe. i had my 5 pound twins in my rev. duallie but with kiddopotomus snuzzlers. they were all safe and sound and didn't move at all.

Not trying to split hairs here, but BOB's customer service told me last Nov. that a baby should be 8 weeks before using the reclined seat. Baby Jogger City's recline is just a tad more flat and they say from birth. DS slid down in the BOB's seat when I tried to use it with him in it. He stayed put in the BJ.

You know you can't jog with them for a loooong time, right?

We have the BOB revloution, and have used it with our Graco SnugRide since our daughter was a week old. It requires a separate adapter - purchased through BOB. The car seat sets on top of adapter, you buckle it in, and off you go. Its been great, as we have been able to take her walking around our neighborhood - cracked sidewalks and all, since she came home.
