My mom has offered to buy a kitchen for my kids for Christmas (yes, she shops early!) I want something wood, so she wants to buy two pieces from one of the sets at Pottery Barn (way too expensive, but she's the grandma).
Two questions for anyone who's looked at kitchens: (1) I was thinking the oven and fridge (and not the sink/dishwasher piece) - does that sound right? and (2) Would you pick the retro red or the new "gourmet" (it looks like wood-mode) set? There is a price difference between the two.
