With Pipsqueaks shoes. They are amazing and not expensive. DD loves them, she always grabs them out of the drawer and wants those shoes. They have a great sole and seem to hold up well so far.

This is one site that has a large selection of them. I have never bought from this site. My sister found them at a boutique and gave them to DD. They are amazing. We have the pink ones with green fur trim, but I want the red mary janes.

Are these the ones that squeak when they walk...I was walking behind a child in the mall with a pair of those and I almost went mad....

We had a vendor at our Farmer's Market this summer. They were very cute but the constant "squeak, squeak" might drive me nuts!

You can remove the "squeaker" from the shoes. I think Pipsqueaks also makes some non-squeaky shoes.

We LOVE squeaky shoes! :love5:
I get then in different brand names online for DD. I search for the best price by googling squeaky shoes. My DD absolutely loves them! And yes, the squeakers come out, they are just a little plug in the side of the heel.
I love them because they are all leather (inside and out), have a nice flexible sole, and in order to 'squeak' your DC has to walk heel-to-toe which was an issue for DD when she was learning to walk. Plus the heel is an air cushion, so they must be really comfy. All that for under $20? Sign me up!
We have 2 really sweet pairs right now, a black mary jane and a light lavender t-strap. Some days DD really wants the squeakers in, but most of the time she wears them without. They are the shoes she asks to wear *every* day.
Totally worth it!

We have non squeaky ones. Some websites have much better boys selections than the one I linked. Google Pipsqueaks and you will find a lot of online retailers.

They might be infuriating, but they are great when out in public - I was at a department store and a little boy waddled over to me (squeak, squeak, squeak). He was clearly lost and I couldn't see his parents. Next thing I know, his dad is running up to me. He heard the squeaking and followed it!
We have been using the squeaker shoes with 2 kids now and love them! They hold up great, fit well and the kids always love them. They are great motivators when you have a new walker. I was so sad when DS2 outgrew the shoes. We used to have a vendor in Chinatown, just around the block from my office, selling them for $15! They are awesome (and yes, the squeaker now comes out as soon as I buy them).
