I love the look of one of them this year but have never bought one of these from Boden before. Reviews are mixed on the website-some say it is thin. Has anyone with cold winters bought this shirt? I'm in New England and don't want to spend $ on something she won't be able to wear this winter.
Thanks for any help!

It is definitely not thin. I can' think of what to compare it to. We just bought some "faux layered" shirts from Target (Circo brand, maybe?) and the Boden shirt is much thicker.
I don't live in a cold climate area though and am not sure of your needs.

We don't have the hotchpotch but do have other long-sleeved t-shirts (stripy applique and others). The fabric is thick and durable, doesn't seem thin in the least bit. I don't know whether the hotchpotch shirt has a different kind of fabric, but since it is jersey as well, I'd assume somewhat thick rather than thin.
