I am at a loss for my 2 DDs. We have done the HA dresses, looked at Gymbo, etc. Any ideas? I am open to buying used (actually prefer it) so it doesn't have to be from this year.
Moms of girls- what are they wearing this year?
TIA!

LL Bean red with white snowflake dresses and pink with multi-colored snowflake HA PD/legging sets from last year (slightly different from this years). DD#1 also has the sherpa top and Red skirt with sherpa trim from HA and DD#2 has an Oshkosh Christmas dress (red velour). That's all I can think of right now.

Oh, and I ordered them the red/white HA striped PD/legging sets. They are in the mail.

DD has a black and white more formal Christmas dress from Gymbo. and a red plaid skirt with matching sweater which is also Gymbo. A good option if you want to find something used is Ebay. This is the first year I didn't get a Christmas outfit off of Ebay for DD. I've had VERY good luck with that route in the past.

There were a couple of soooo super cute dresses at TJMaxx today, probably in the $12-15 range. One was more like the LLBean dress (but the print along the bottom, no hood), one was more like a red/black trim version of this Hanna one. Not in DDs sizes though, but I was drooling!!

Ohhh, the first was kind of like this, but no dots and trim along the bottom

We are doing the red/white Hanna playdresses but with tights instead of the leggings (the leggings aren't fitting my older DD well these days [too big in waist for the length she needs]) and it will look less busy that way. They also have red dresses from Gymb. last year that will be our backups. They really only need one Christmas outfit each. But they also each have several red or winter themed outfits that we'll fall back on if needed.

I was considering the blue dot velour dresses from Gymb's new line with red leggings.... I love the colors in that new line!

We're pretty casual for the holidays, though.

I opted for a non-red dress this year, as last year she wore her outfit once and now it's too small. I splurged a little and got her the Dala dress from Hanna- first time for us. I loved the colors and it's so cute- we're doing family pictures as well so she can wear it for multiple occasions.

I absolutely adore this Gap dress:

I can see my daughter getting a little annoyed with it after a while since it has a layer of tulle underneath, but i have a much comfier red Ralph Lauren dress that i got in Marshall's a couple of months ago. I figure, diva that she is... she can change into that later in the day.

Hmmm... looks like a lot of BB mamas like Hanna. :D Well, this year with the fantastic sales, we're doing the Hanna Twilight Taffeta dress in red http://www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?from=SC%7C12%7C7%7C387%7C390%7C3%7C83%7C 1&simg=34841_U17

And for more casual occasions, we have the Hanna Ornament playdress set from a few years ago. We also have the red/white playdress. So yeah, we are all set for Xmas! :D

There are also some really cute dresses that I saw at Kohl's, Rare Edition or some brand like that.

We have a few options - haven't had DD try them on yet to see what fits and what we like. My first choice is a red Naartjie pinnie from a few years ago - got it off Swap. We also have a black velvet dress with tiered ruffles that is very simple and gorgeous. And last year we bought the HA Circle of Friends dress but it was waaay too big. Not sure if that will fit this year...honestly I'd prefer to return it, since it's still NWT and I'm still a little bitter that the embroidery is all different colors instead of the red that was pictured. If my DD could pull it off, I also love the HA Milano knit dress. Sooo pretty! I think it would just wash her out though.

Now DS on the other hand...I have nothing for him. Boys are hard to shop for holiday wise, especially because we don't want to do sweater vests or ties.

Since I have little justification for buying a special holiday dress - we just stay home for Christmas - I tried to keep it simple and cheap this year with this:

We also have a HA dress from several seasons ago (bought it when I was pregnant) that I think was called "something Provence" dress. It's one of the knit sweater dresses.
