marathon cover on fp safe voyage

it is my understanding that the fiisher price safe voyage and the britax marathon are nearly identical seats.

i am interested in putting a britax cover on the fp. will it fit properly? has anyone done this or heard of anyone doing it?

They do fit, the Decathalon cover actually fits a bit better. Britax will tell you not to use one, mainly because they can't be sure they will fit perfectly and they don't want anyone mixing up the seats. I think they are afraid that a Marathon cover could cause someone to think that the seat had a higher weight limit, for example.

I have MA covers on my two FPSVD seats. They fit beautifully! However, I kept the original covers and will put them back on when I pass these seats on, so that no one thinks that they are actually Marathons.
