This may be a stupid question, but will I be able to install a car seat using LATCH on a plane seat? Or it's seat belt only?

Thanks!

If you read the title of the thread, and then the comment, it says "seat belt only but no such thing as a stupid question"

So she answered your question (no latch on airplane, seat belt only), and said that your question wasn't stupid.

I saw that earlier and had to do a double take to figure it out. Her reply is in the title, which is easy to miss.

Her whole reply was "seat belt only, but no such thing as a stupid question!"

On a plane, there is only a seatbelt, but since it is a lap-only belt it will be a very easy install. Thread it through and pull the tail to tighten. What seat will you be installing?

I too did a double-take at that reply, until I read the subject line.

OT as an aside, I really hate it when people reply to threads/emails in the subject line. My secretary does it and it drives me NUTTY. Sorry. Venting my own baggage, LOL.

I think the PP was well-intentioned.

And, OP, no, there is no LATCH in airplanes as has been covered off. Just practice your lap-belt installation in your vehicle seat and you're good to go. Sometimes its nice to have a belt extender (the FA can get you one), but its not necessary.

I'll hop on the thread-jack. I can only stand it IF a) the entire reply can fit in the subject line and b) they put 'eom' at the end so I don't bother opening it.
