Thanks for KrisM for noting that there is another Walgreens coupon booklet out with $2 off diapers coupon. The booklet is behind the pharmacy counter and has a red door on the front. Just thought this deal was worth repeating.
Walgreens diapers are on sale 2 for $9 this week, use this coupon to get them for $2.50/package. Great diapers IMHO.

I am so mad at my local wag's. I went this morning and the pharmacy gave me the book with no problem. I went to pay and of course, the pharmacy gave me the old book that expired 12/31/08. I have had many diaper problems with them in the past so I got nervous when they called the manager (who would totally remember me if she saw me). She tells the associate to manually key in the discount and then detroy the coupon. Fine by me, except the associate reads the fine print and it says "limit 1" so she was only going to give me $2 off for the 4 pack I had. I told her forget it and walked out.

I am tempted to try again this afternoon when there might be another shift working but I so don't want to show my face again, especially since the coupon does technically say "not to be combined with other offers". UGHHHH it is such hard work trying to get a good deal around here!

This is definitely YMMV as the coupon reads "not valid with other offers" or "$2 off our regular price" or something like that (I have a 12/31/08 coupon and it has both phrases on it; I assume that the coupon expiring in March reads the same way).

Yes, I asked this morning just for the coupon book at the pharmacy and was given the medicare one. When I told them I wanted the regular one with the picture of the walgreen's on it, they gave me that one (of course, see post above, it was last years....)I didn't have to listen to any speech which was nice.

Seriously, they must be on to us. I've gone to two WG. Neither has had the new booklet with the new coupon. The first had only the Medicare one, the second one gave me the expired coupon booklet.

I don't think they are supposed to be giving out the new coupon book yet to prevent us from doing this very deal. . . yes, I am paranoid, but that doesn't mean it's not true.:bouncy:

At the second one, the manager said to key in the discount for the expired coupon, so I got two packs for $5, but I had a whole buggy load of them. (The other WG didn't even have ANY 4's left. I'm thinking SOMEONE got ahold of the coupon booklet and bought out the store.)

Reading this I really do sound like a crazy person, but it makes me mad that I am trying this deal and there's very little to show from it.

OK-I went back today and it was my lucky day. The manager and asst. mgr hate be due to previous diaper fiascos so I was happy not to see them. I loaded up my cart since DH and I discussed that $4.5 per pack is still good. I was embarrassed to go back after yesterday's incident.

Well, some silver haired fox was running the pharmacy when I tried to ask for the coupon again. Let me just say we live in an area with a very high geriatric population so I must have been a sight for sore eyes. He dug all around and found a stack of the new booklets, still shrinkwrapped!!!!!!!!!! I got no speech, he seemed happy to give me one and then another when I asked for two!

I walk to the front , 10 packs ring up = $45 total. I give the cashier the coupon , she cuts it out (no biggie since I now have another), scans it and woooooooooohoooooooo $20 comes off! There were two women in line after me and you could hear them ooh and ahh. I didn't want to make a big deal since I didn't want the cashier to check the limit on the coupon or anything...I ran to the car and speed off! I am so happy I got the right pharmacist and the right cashier today and thanks OP, for the notice on the deal.

I bought out the premium and am tempted to send DH back to get the regular (I have seen very little diff). but with the upcoming Huggies deal at walgreen's next week, I might just relax for a few days!

Hope others find the new book soon. PS-the expiration is 6/30 on them

Thanks! My DH bought all of the 3t pull ups that they had, so it's nice to know that they will be doing the sale again in 2 wks! I think I'm going to start stocking up for the baby, even though we CD, I don't start until the baby can fit into size small fuzzibunz and also I don't CD at night or if we travel.

I tried 4 different Wags today and none of them "had" a coupon book. I'll keep trying as I'm able but I'm really disappointed not to have gotten 2.50/pack. I still bought 10 since it was getting silly to not buy any at a decent price.

I haven't found much difference between the 2- the supremes may be a little larger overall, but not much. As far as quality/absorbancy, I don't notice any difference. What I think is the bigger thing to know about the Walgreen's diapers is that their sizing runs very small- like an entire size smaller. For example, when looking at a Walgreens size 3, the premium ones are slightly bigger than a Pampers size 2 and the regular Walgreens ones (not premium) are practically identical in size to a Pampers size 2! Overall, I'm pretty happy with them, no leaks or anything. Pampers would be my first choice, but I bought hundreds (not kidding....literally hundreds!) of packs over the summer when the deal was actually a money maker, so we'll be using Walgreen's diapers for quite a while!

FYI, I found the premium to work better for nighttime. The non-premium were fine for daytime but leaked at night when the premium didn't.

I finally got to Walgreen's today. They first told me they didn't have a new coupon book, but then she did look and found it still shrink wrapped. She seemed to think she just got them in.

I only bought 6 packs, but no problem getting $12 off my total. I'll go back to another store for more tonight, I hope.

Yes, they run small. I have 6 packs of size 4 left and am now buying size 5. DS2 is 7.5 months and about 21 lbs.

Knowing the hounds I know, it is more than likely that every Wags near me (and there are about 6 convenient to me or places I regularly go) sold out Sunday by 8am. But I will try anyway. It would sure be nice to stock up on 1's before DS gets here. And I know 2 other PG gals PG, so they would be PERFECT for a diaper cake. Which I've never made but have always wanted to try.
Not to mention DD has literally 2 pullups left (their brand) plus I need to return a movie to Redbox and it is right outside Wags. So I need to go there anyway. I still think $4.50 is a great deal.

TY for posting about the coupon! I asked the pharmacy today if they had the coupon books, at first they tried to give me the rebate coupon book and then I said, "No, the one about the medical plan." She had to look around and said, "This?" I looked at it and almost missed the coupon, b/c it is at the bottom right corner of the booklet (and FYI, this booklet is more like a trifold than your traditional looking Walgreen's coupon book). I said, "Yes, it is." Then I asked if i could have an extra one and she gave it to me! I got 14 pks of diapers, and the cashier did not even bat an eye when the coupon went through for each pk. They were all out of my son's size (so I bought stuff for the baby I'm expecting this summer), so when they have the sale in two wks, I'm going to go back to get some more of my son's pull up size. Our Walgreen's only has like 4 pks max of each size if nobody else has bought anything.

Don't worry. The sale runs through Sat. but somone posted above in this thread that they are also doing the 2 for $9 in just a couple of weeks. My plan is to stop at the pharmacy between now and then and stockpile some coupons so it isn't such a drama to fill up your cart only to be turned down, as has happened to most of us. Luckily I am hanging on to the extra coupon from the nice guy who gave me two earlier this week.

The second link you provided is not it. *edit* the link was fixed* At the first Walgreens I went to that is the one they tried to give me. I looked inside - no diaper coupon. Then I went up the street to another. That girl just gave it to me after asking the others for help. THis one had a picure of the front of a walgreens on it ane success.

The coupons says limit one and only good for packs w/ 26-36 dipe. This made me a little scared so I only put 6 i my cart 3 size 4(30 count) and 3 packs of newborn (40 count). Sure enough the lady at the checkout just looked for her code punched it in and bam $12 off. She didn't even take the coupon. I'm trying again after work at the one by my house. Yay! Thanks to everyone for the heads up.

Woot! I scored! 8 pkgs at 2.50 a pack!!! I paid at the pharmacy today since I was picking up a RX and the cashier was impressed with the savings. She looked closer at the coupon and pulled out a sealed bundle of them from under her counter. She said that they just got those in recently. If your store didn't have them during the last sale- maybe they do now.

Yes, you can use multiple register rewards at the same time, however, you must have more items than reward coupons and your rewards can't be more than the total of your items.

This time I got a really chatty cashier and I thought for sure she would be distracted enough, BUT she looked at the coupon when I handed it to her after she had already rung everything up and said, "It says that it is limited to one." Then she said, "I'm going to have to call the mgr, I don't want to get in trouble." I was thinking to myself, oh great. Well, the mgr (older male) comes up, she tells him that she rung me out and did not realize the coupon said limit of one and that I would be getting $24 off. He didn't even bat any eye! He told her it was fine and he didn't lecture me or anything about how he was just being nice this time...

So, I will have to remember what that cashier looks like and if she's working, maybe I better go to our other Walgreen's in town, lol. BTW, I used the booklet coupon, not the print out.

Their policy is not to take expired coupons. Never hurts to ask, though. Try your local grocery store, too. Some will take competitor coupons, and some will take expired coupons. You might find a way to use them yet. I let a $10 one expire once and couldn't find anyone to take it - oh, how it hurt to throw that one away but I had to move on!
