When did your dc outgrow the Blvd?

At what age did your dc outgrow the Blvd? My dd just turned 3 and I am wondering how long on average kids stay in the Blvd.

Also is anyone thinking of buying a Regent now for their dc and waiting a year to put them in it since they are not going to be making them anymore?

My dd is not quite 3 and (obviously) hasn't outgrown her BV yet, so I can't help with that. From what I've heard around, I want to say about 5 years old?

As far as getting a Regent, I'd only do it if my kid were really big. I think that for most kids, there are combination seats available that will harness them long enough to where, when they outgrow the harness, I'm comfortable with them being in a booster. I think the Regent was a bigger deal before the Nautilus and Frontier came out. And who knows what other harnessed seats will be out there in a year or two or three when your dd does outgrow her BV, kwim?
