I'm trying to think outside the box this year. Here's what i've come up with so far:
- a small flower pot with seeds for planting
- books on CD
- small card game, like My First Uno
- chocolate covered raisins
Anyone have any neat ideas?

Not sure if this counts since DH is really, really not into the Easter bunny, but our kids are getting Resurrection Eggs (http://www.amazon.com/Resurrection-Eggs-Parenting-Familylife-Publishing/dp/1572293241/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1238619675&sr=8-1).
Of course, I bought them when I was out today and left them at the store!:duh:

I'm not into the Easter bunny (Easter a deeply religious thing for me and I honestly can't STAND the whole Easter bunny thing)...
BUT... I'm caving in this year! I can't fight it. So far I have a chocolate cross and bunny, and a couple of really small silicone baking pans from the dollar store, in the shape of a moon and star. He loves his kitchen, and loves moons and stars! I might stick a ViewMaster reel in there, too. He'll be getting candy from the egg hunt at church that day, so I don't want to go overboard with candy.

I will definitely get those for my kids next year, I just don't think they are ready yet. I've heard SO many great things about them.

My girls are getting bunnies that I crocheted for them and I had grandiose ideas of making them little bunny books, but that may fall by the wayside. I think I put away a pair of babylegs for each of them too. Oh, and I did some bunny-bartering with a friend of mine who makes hairbows so I'll have some lovely bows to put in there too. I would like to get something more meaningful about the resurrection of Jesus.....haven't thought of anything yet.

DD isn't getting this because she already has the supplies (I lovely gift from my friend)....
But all her 3 yo friends are getting a small package containing a 7" embroidery hoop, several pieces of burlap (cut to fit the hoop) and a tapestry needle. And in our Easter Egg hunt with the group I have filled our 36 eggs with embroidery floss. So all together they will have a beginner's sewing kit.
DD got her kit for her third birthday in January and has made some lovely pieces, which I am turning into pillows for grandma and great grandma for Mother's Day. Here is a picture of a finished pillow.

Edited to add... DD is getting this garden for her dollhouse in her basket

And we are currently growing wheat germ to fill the basket with natural 'grass" - the directions are here.

DS is 4. He's getting a mini automoblox (he loves these). A couple Kumon books. A Sees chocolate bunny. Jelly Beans (these are more for DH;)). Stickers. A jump rope. DD is 1 and she's getting a Madame Alexander Doll that I got at Tuesday Morning. I think that's everything.

What

- chocolate bunny
- mini lego set from Target Easter stuff (one with a 'guy' because they are always fighting about who gets the 'guy' so we need more 'guys')
- puzzle (bunny or chick - Target again)
- garden statue (http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=152743-47486-22-648&lpage=none)from Lowes (they had really cute ones - search Juvenile to see them all)
I also have a Hungry Catepiller card game that I picked up on clearance but I need to look at it again to see who is getting it. We don't usually go big for Easter - around $20 max - the statues may put us slightly over this year, but I'm trying to get them excited about the garden. :)

Well, the Easter Bunny won't be bringing it, I don't feel the need to go down that road. Santa is a big enough ruse to keep up with!
DD is almost 3, and I'm giving her a basket of whatever is in the Easter box in the closet, LOL! Last year she got a bunch of stuff from the Target dollar aisle from the church, and I wound up finding more to match it in the after-Easter sales. So that plus whatever else I find. I think I have a box of Raisinettes in the pantry, plus I might fill some eggs with goldfish & whatever little mini-cookie/cracker type snacks I can find. And she loves fake tattoos so I will stuff some of those in eggs too. Target has Little Miss/Mr Men tattoos on clearance, ideally I'll give her those plus a few LM/MM books, assuming the package from sort Floor arrives in time. We'll be going to at least one egg hunt so I think she'll be set for candy.

Replying to myself because I opened the box of Easter decor and found all the stuff I got at 50-75% off last year. :bag
I found: Stuffed peeps (basically small bean bag/stuffed animals shaped like peeps), Silly putty eggs, playdoh eggs, Easter doodle pro and matchbox car eggs. I'll have to sort it out when the kids are asleep. I'll probably save some of it for next year again or I may not get the garden things and save those for birthdays (haven't actually gotten them yet).

We always got these growing up, and we do the same for the boys. We love going out and flying the kite on windy days.
I don't do candy, but I do snacks (ok, I raid the pantry.)
They get tatoos too, found Easter ones at Five Below. I used them for egg hunt eggs.
