I'm feeling very pregnant these days and I'm a little freaked out. I've had my tubes tied! I'm not supposed to get prego. But, I am nauseated in the mornings (even threw up in the car yesterday morning!), fatigued, eating everything in site.... all the same things I experienced with previous two pregnancies.

Surely I can't be pregnant, can I? I'm too scared to go get a pregnancy test. Not sure why I am, but I REALLY am. I'm going to have to do it though, aren't I?

I'd say take the test. Then you can more clearly focus on why you are feeling crummy, which is probably (due to the tube tie) not pregnancy related. GL and hope you feel better soon

Did you have them tied w/ a csection? There is a higher failure rate when done then... Take a test

Yeah, we went outside to play and I was hoping you'd been to the store and back by now. I guess you'll probably wait until tomorrow morning, right?

Ok, can someone please tell me why? I have an IUD right now but was looking at either having my tubes tied or DH getting snipped. I can't imagine having anymore children it scares me!!! I need to know how I can successfully prevent pregnancy...

WOW! that would be wild, huh? I was 99% convinced I was preggo in October....I had ALL the symptoms....but turned out not (obviously). We are indeed very curious, so keep us posted....

No, not yet. It's better if only one of us is freaked out at the moment.

Ok, snuck out to get preg test this evening, I couldn't wait any longer.

NOT pregnant.

Somewhat relieved, and somewhat sad. I guess the tubal is working. Thanks for all the thoughts and encouragements!

my most recent "pregnancy" was celiac disease. maybe you have acid reflux? hyperthyroid? illness?

ok, two thoughts -

1) read Liza's old posts if you haven't followed them. Hope you're doing better, Liza!

2) we failed our first test with DS2 also. We passed 8 days later, in the morning. DH was like, "What? WE failed a pg test?" obviously, we've been blessed with fertility even though we're oooooold.

"Not pregnants" on tests does NOT mean you are not pregnant, it could just mean your hormones are not high enough to register yet. We didn't test positive until 19 dpo.

I also know that a Definitely Pregnant gals have tested and come up negative as well. (after some point, the hormones stop being at the level to register).

Positives are definites. Negatives are not.

Just ask any woman waiting out the long wait to find if they are pregnant or not? (testing every day, etc)

We didn't test positive until 19 dpo.

You should go to the Dr. and get a blood test. If that turns out negative, I would still want to know what was "wrong" with me...so not a wasteful Dr appt.

If your symptoms continue I would go to the dr. if it were me. I would be concerned about an ectopic. The chances are really low but I have had two of them and they are no fun! I don't know the exact stats and my dr. told me that tubals do not increase your chance of having an ectopic but if you do get pregnant after a tubal I think the chances are higher that it's an ectopic (if that makes any sense!). And with ectopics your hcg levels are usually really low and fluctuate and may not be picked up by a pee test in the beginning.
