I just found out that my friend's 19 year old daughter was murdered by her ex boyfriend. I am in shock. I just can't even imagine what he and his wife (not to mention their two other children) are going through right now. She was just starting to get her life back together, and now it is over. I don't know what to say.

My advice (I had an uncle who's sister was murdered) is to just be there for your friend. She may not want to talk, she will most likely be angry, etc but it's all part of the grieving process. Just let her know that you are there for her and that she has someone she can turn to at any time if she needs something.

Boy, this sounds like the case that happened where I live. It just happened in my old neighborhood and not far from where I live now. I was shocked. Prayers for her family.
