Hello! I just discovered this site, and realize I can use your help!

We are torn between the Baby Jogger City Mini and the Baby Jogger Classic.
I found a place here in Canada where I can get both at the same price (2009 model for the mini, 2008 model for the Classic).
I love that the Mini is so compact, folds so small and is light.
On the other hand, I am told that for our snowy winters, the tires of the Classic will be better for us.
I guess it`s the old tradeoff of size/lightness for better tires.
Also, I am not sure of differences in the 2008 and 2009 Classic models.
HELP!

Oh, yeah, for the snow you need air tires, definitely! Unless you don't walk outside at all. Regular plastic wheels get stuck in the snow and ice, and they're harder to push in any kind of bumpy terrain.
I live in Chicago and I could not have gotten by without AT tires.
The Mini is definitely more of an indoor stroller.

Most families who own an AT, also get a small umbrella later on for quick car trips and travel, like a Maclaren Quest or Triumph

I will second the air tires! They are great in the winter, or anytime you are not on smooth pavement. I went all over the place this winter with my elite, and it was great.
BTW, does that Canadian store have a website? I am thinking about getting a single in addition to my double, and am on the lookout for deals.

I third it from a midwestern winter wonderland.

I think the 2008 Classic is similar to the 2008 Elite in that it does not have suspension to soften the bumps, but the 2009 models do. I'm pretty sure that goes for the classic, but you should call their cust. service and ask.
