This is NOT my kid. Nope. My enormous child barely fit in it!
I went down this morning, sans camera, but with measuring tape, and plopped Leah (3y3m, about 40 inches and 35lbs) in it, and her head was already above the top of the seat, and she needed the top slots. Lots of leg support and the cupholders are nice, though.
The quality is what you'd expect for a $160 Graco...nothing fantastic, but pretty nice. I LOVED that it had LATCH straps in both Rear and Forward Facing belt paths...no trying to rethread to new paths! I also loved that it had 5 harness slot heights (my measuring tape got 9" for the lowest, 16" for the highest, and the top shell measurement about 23.5...I put the marathon next to it and got 10" for the lowest, 17" for the highest, and more like 25 for the top of the shell...Leah had quite a bit of growing room FF in the Marathon...even RF if she were light enough... but was almost too big for the MR, so that seems right to me).
Anyway, it's out there, and it's a great seat for people with very heavy toddlers... I'm really glad someone's finally leading the way with higher weight RF seats :yay:
