I just got a 2008 BJCE today! I love it! Once I put everything together, there is this strap that hangs off the handle and connects to a bar at the bottom. What is that for? I've perused the manuals and it makes no mention of that strap.

Jogging strollers all have wrist straps to keep the stroller from getting away from you. Bugaboos and some others do too. I use the strap on hills or when I'm crossing the road, just so we don't let go and watch the stroller roll away. The one on the BJCE actually has velcro and can be stuck there, unused. The one on the BOB drove me crazy because it didn't have velcro and had to be picked up off the ground all the time.

i use the strap all the time bc jogging strollers can roll away very quickly. it's taken me some time to get used to the diff between a regular stroller and the bj and that is the biggest one for me - always having a hand on it and locking it. a gust of wind will get it rolling.
