Marathon Instructions Suck! HELP!

So, put in our new Marathon yesterday. The instructions to put it in were fine.

However, there are no instructions on how to adjust the straps so they fit tight. Only instructions on how to adjust strap height.

I don't see the usual pull things to tighten them up.

I cannot believe of all the great things I've heard about this carseat just to find out the instructions that come with it are terrible.

I mean, my snugride was like a book! This thing is like 15 "pages" long and mostly dealing with putting the MA in the car.

I'm guessing your adjuster strap (which is the same metal flap with a strap on the front of the seat, but hidden under a sewn cloth panel to keep toddlers from mucking with it) is hidden somehwere? Look under that panel, but I can't imagine where the strap would be hidden, it usually is dangling out there for all to see, so to speak.

I totally agree with you, the instructions on the Britax(s) we own are quite lacking! Kind of irritating when you've spent good money on a carseat.

Pages 34/35/36 have decent instructions...but they could be better. This is the first I've ever seen anyone complain about how to work a harness adjuster, maybe no one ever calls Britax so they don't feel the need to spell it out any clearer?
