Can kids drink Emergen-C?

Just got some for DH since he's sick. Probably got it form DS #3. Emergen-C 1,000 mg of Vitamin C.....just wondering if kids (4 and 6 y.o.) can drink this stuff...or, is there a kids' version?

There is a kid specific version (we have orange/pineapple right now for the kidlets). There is something in the adult version...trying to remember off the top of my head...MSM? ALA? One of those acronymns ;) that isn't good for kids to have too much of.

I'll give my kids the adult stuff but limit the amount to maybe 1/4 of a packet. I rarely even give them a full packet of the kid stuff...too sweet, etc. for their taste usually anyway.

I'm not sure but I give DS1 Lil Critter's Immune C plus zinc and echinacea. 2 gummies have 80 mg of C (133%).

I give my kids the 500mg chewables. :) If they're coming down w/something I give them 2000 or 3000 mg a day.

I know that my sil uses the kid's version of emergen-c and loves it.
